Napa Valley is one of the most beautiful wine regions in the world. It is located to the north of San Francisco. In this beautiful valley we find an elegant boutique hotel at the heart of a large olive grove on more than 33 acres: Auberge du Soleil. Proud partner of Relais & Châteaux, this inn offers approximately 50 different types of rooms. Despite its rather intimate size, it has all the amenities of a large luxury hotel: a 7,000-square-foot luxury spa, a beautiful pool, and a renowned gourmet restaurant.
Welcoming and tastefully decorated, the rooms all have impressive views of the surrounding countryside. They also include large terraces and most have a fireplace.
But the star of this establishment is without a doubt its one-star Michelin restaurant. Its superb terrace overlooks the vineyards and offers a spectacular view of the hills to the west. It is one of the most coveted restaurants in California! Its chef, Robert Curry, is the master of the restaurant.
Having organic farms and markets as neighbours, with whom the owners have forged wonderful relationships, Auberge du Soleil is able to offer the best produce year-round.
One of the outstanding dishes (and a favorite of Robert Curry) is the milk-fed veal on brioche bread, garnished with asparagus and black chanterelle mushrooms. All of it basted with a reduction of roast poultry, kombu, and bonito seaweed broth emulsified with olive oil. We want more!
The Auberge also houses an award-winning wine cellar, which holds more than 15,000 bottles.
Auberge du Soleil, a unique place for the pleasure of the eyes, for the happiness of the spirit, and to spoil your taste buds.
