The large family of Relais & Châteaux hotels counts among its prestigious partners the Sonora Resort. If you opt for a body treatment, the Island Currents Spa offers treatments, as well as moments of relaxation in the soothing mineral pools. We highly recommend the Water Journey treatment, with mineral water baths at various temperatures, followed by sauna sessions and steam baths, destined to reinvigorate you. All this done sometimes under the curious gaze of deer!

Regional cuisine.
Lukas Gurtner, the chef of the restaurant Tyee at the establishment, is a native of Vancouver Island. A true adventurer, he adores outdoor activities. His love of nature inspires him to create dishes in which the ingredients (as he likes to say) are the gastronomic jewels of the Canadian west coast, such as salmon, seafood (large scallops), beef, organic veal, as well as local vegetables and herbs, selected with care. You must taste the squid-ink crusted halibut or scallop tartare accompanied by salicornia sprinkled with caviar. And don’t miss the chef’s tasting menu with wine pairing!

Lukas has a special attachment to the Québéçois. He worked alongside Daniel Vézina at Laurie Raphaël restaurant in Montréal. He adored La Belle Province! As for you, you will adore the Sonora Resort.
